Our Mission 

For over 40 years, the Central Park Conservancy has been entrusted by the City of New York with the complete day-to-day care of this iconic public space. More than 400 Conservancy employees expertly tend to the Park’s complex maintenance, restoration, and architectural needs–including horticulture, tree and turf care, trash management, visitor services, and more.
