About the Author:
G. Augustine Lynas is a freelance artist and author who has lived and worked in New York City since 1965. Although he is an experienced graphic designer and photographer, his first love is sculpture. He gained worldwide recognition as a sand sculptor with the publication of his book Sandsong and the release of his documentary film of the same name. Mr. Lynas paints, draws, designs games and writes and illustrates books including The ABCs of Central Park and The ABCs Riverside Park. As a sculptor, he has created concrete, bronze and ceramic sculptures in seven NYC parks and has work in various private collections.
